MILLPORT, Ala. — David Homan, 67, died July 15, 2026, at his residence. 

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, at Belk Baptist Church in Belk, Alabama, with the Rev. Gene Nabors officiating. Burial will follow at Antioch Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the church. Dowdle Funeral Home of Millport is in charge of arrangements. 

Mr. Homan was born Dec. 22, 1958, in Fayette, Alabama, to the late Bud and Ruby Homan. He was a graduate of Millport High School and a member of Belk Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, John Homan. 

He is survived by his wife, Mary Porter Homan. 

Pallbearers will be Jonathon Fowler, Tyler Fowler, Joseph Vail, Caleb Wharton, John David Ray, Nathan Porter, Brady Porter, Dustin Homan and Greg Jones.
