ATLANTA, Ga. — Darryl “Rell” Williams, 48, died May 17, 2026.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, at 15th Church of God in Christ, with Marion Bonner officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Gardens. No visitation will be held. Carter’s Funeral Services of Columbus is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Williams was born Jan. 7, 1978, in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, to Mary Ann Williams Shirley and the late Burton Sparks. He was formerly employed with Hollow Roofing, Tip Top Roofing, and Crabapple Roofing.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his step-father, Larry Shirley; and brothers, Danny T. Lyons Sr. and Terry Lyons.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Rosetta Williams; daughters, Brianna and Tatianna Williams; step-children,  Kenya Hampton, Kaya Hampton, Kayla McClendon and Kennedy Hampton; siblings, Jacqueline Danner, Jennifer Porter, Amy Williams Davis, Larry Shirley Jr., Karmen Slaughter, Katrina Shirley, Cassandra Brown, Pamela Lyons, Bert Sparks III, Omar Danner, Larry Stapes, Shayla Fenton, Kira Fenton and Joe Q. Lyons; and two grandchildren.
