BROOKSVILLE — Darrell Winston EAves, 75, died Sept. 30, 2025, at his residence.

No funeral services will be held. Visitation is from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday at Cockrell Funeral Home. Cockrell Funeral Home of Macon is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Eaves was born Jan. 14, 1950, in Winston County, to the late Forrest Tatum and Bernice Irene Palmer Eaves. He was a graduate of Scooba Tech and a veteran of the Mississippi National Guard, serving as Staff Sergeant and a tank commander. He was formerly employed as a journeyman carpenter with West Brothers Construction.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Lemuel Lloyd Eaves and Elizabeth Arlin Eaves.
