MABEN — Darrell Bernard Eacholes, 57, died Jan. 4, 2026, in Maben.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at West Clay Elementary School in Cedar Bluff. Burial will follow at Lower Prairie Creek Cemetery in Woodland. Visitation is from 12:30-6 p.m. Friday at West Memorial Funeral Home. West Memorial Funeral Home of Starkville is in charge of arrangements.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Eacholes of Maben; children, Lamarcus Bedford and Laquaz Bedford of Starkville, Darrell Eacholes and Dar’Tasia Eacholes, both of Mantee, Sha’Qerry Ivy and Ka’Dijah Eacholes of Houston, and Jaslynn Bedford of Maben; parents, Francis Mae Spann of West Point and Howard Kilgore of Saltillo; siblings, Timothy Eacholes, Makeska Shoemaker and Shaminka Shoemaker, all of West Point, Keven Eacholes and Shyvonda Shoemaker, both of Houston, Howard Kilgore of Houston, Texas, and Jackie Evans of Janesville, Wisconsin; and 19 grandchildren.
