COLUMBUS — Daisy Elizabeth Williams Kidd, 93, died Aug. 12, 2025, at her residence.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, at Anderson Grove M.B. Church, with Willie Jones officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery. Visitation is from 2-6 p.m. Thursday at Carter’s Funeral Services. Carter’s Funeral Services of Columbus is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Kidd was born May 10, 1932, in Caledonia, to the late Albert and Elizabeth Williams. She was formerly employed as a cafeteria worker with Caledonia High School and was a member of Anderson Grove M.B. Church. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmie Kidd Sr.; sons, Ronnie and Jimmie Kidd Jr.; siblings, Emma Ussery, Alice Lawrence, Bobby Joe Williams, Willie B. Williams, James A. Williams, Cal Fernandis, Emmitt Williams and Mary Tripp; and one grandchild.

She is survived by her children, Johnnie Wrench, Lynn Wyatt and Twindrika Fields; sister, Jerelene Sims of Detroit, Michigan; five grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Pallbearers are Tony Henry, Anthony Hicks, Keith McClaine, Jamire Shaw, Trifari Shields and Willie Tyler.
