COLUMBUS — Cynthia Carter, 62, died Oct. 27, 2025, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, at Redemption Fire Church with Armando Adams officiating. Burial will follow at Sardis Cemetery. Visitation is from 1-5 p.m. Friday at Lee-Sykes Funeral Home. Lee-Sykes Funeral Home of Columbus is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Carter was born June 20, 1963, in Columbus, to Mattie W. Temple and the late Roosevelt Billups. She was formerly employed at Food Giant in Aberbeen and was a member of Missionary Union Baptist Church.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Amanda Hill; husband, Ike Carter; and one grandchild.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her son, Antonio Hill Sr.; daughter, Victoria King; sisters, Audre Sanders, Sophia Hill, Tammie Warren, Jacquelyn Hill, Velvet Hill and Linda Tate; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Christopher Pratt, Vanquez Fox Sr., Christopher Wrench, Kevin Hill, Lawrence Hill, Landrick Hill, Devin Hill and Sergio Hubbard.
