COLUMBUS — Curtis “Bruh” Richardson, 69, died June 19, 2025, at her residence.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, at Providence M.B. Church, with Timothy Edwards officiating. Burial will follow at Stallion Cemetery. Carter’s Funeral Services of Columbus is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Richardson was born Aug. 30, 1955, in Columbus, to the late Peter Richardson Sr. and Ella Richardson. He was a 1975 graduate of Caldwell High School and was formerly employed with Bostick Groceries, Big Star and Sunflower.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Edward Lee, Fannie, Clarence, James, Georgia, Peter Jr. and Martha Richardson.

He is survived by his siblings, Thomas L. Richardson Sr. of Cleveland, Ohio, Franklin Richardson and Pearlie McCoy, both of Columbus, and Jessie M. Richardson of East Point, Georgia.

Pallbearers will be Michael Richardson, Quatres McBride, Christopher Richardson and Franklin Richardson Jr.
