ARTESIA — Cornelia “Connie” “Doll” Glass Givens, 75, died Sept. 11, 2025, at her residence. 

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, at New Hope M.B. Church in Artesia, with the Rev. Thomas Rice officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-6 p.m. Friday, at Carter’s Funeral Services. Carter’s Funeral Services of Columbus is in charge of arrangements. 

Mrs. Givens was born Jan. 20, 1950, in Macon, to the late Aaron Glass and Cornelia Glass. She was a graduate of B.F. Liddell School in Macon and was formerly employed at United Technologies. She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church. 

She is survived by her husband, JP Givens; children, Eunice Robinson, Willie Robinson, Christina Young, JP Givens Jr., all of Artesia; and seven grandchildren. 

Pallbearers will be JP Givens Jr., Willie Robinson, Marquis Banks, Eric Crawford, Shawn Young, Eugene Brown, Tyrone James, Dennis Chandler and Antwain Armstead.
