COLUMBUS — Cora Bell Richardson, 87, died Aug. 13, 2025, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Golden Triangle. 

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, at Zion Gate M.B. Church, with James A. Boyd officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 2-6 p.m. Friday, at Carter’s Funeral Services. Carter’s Funeral Services of Columbus is in charge of arrangements. 

Mrs. Richardson was born March 6, 1938, in Cleveland, to the late Jimmie Richardson and Naomi Richardson. She was a member of Zion Gate M.B. Church. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, JW Richardosn; brothers, Roosevelt, Sylvester, Leroy and Jimmy Jr. Richardson; and sister, Georgia Mae Richardson. 

She is survived by her children, Yvonne Hudson, Harold Moore, Donald Richardson, Ronald Richardson, all of Columbus, Dennis Richardson and Shervonna Richardson, both of Atlanta, Georgia; brother, Ivory Richardson of Weiden, Germany; and sister, Shirley Wilson of St. Lois, Missouri; and four grandchildren. 

Pallbearers will be Roosevelt Richardson Jr., Keon Richardson, Galen Thigpen, Leroy Whitfield, Dera Smith and Ruben Flowers.
