Connie Ann Pate, age 51, of Ethelsville, AL died Monday, May 14, 2012, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. Visitation will be held at Memorial Funeral Home Friday, May 18, 2012, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Connie was born on Wednesday, October 5, 1960, in Frankfurt, Germany to the late Vernon Lindsey and Heidi Ahlfeldt Lindsey Beardslee. She spent most of her youth in Odessa, Texas, and her adult life in Ethelsville, Alabama. She was a former employee of Columbus Marble Works and the Mississippi Sheriffs’ Boys’ Ranch. Survivors include her husband, Gary Pate, Ethelsville AL; mother and step-father, Heidi and Rick Beardslee, Midland, TX; one sister, Karen Horsley, Abilene, TX; one brother, Walter Lindsey (Karen), Odessa, TX; grandmother, Luisa Ahlfeldt (Oma), Midland, TX; nephew, Wesley Horsley; nieces, April Horsley Cleere, Kara Lindsey Warren and Kayla Corly; mother-in-law, Atlas Pate, Ethelsville, AL; brother-in-law, Scott Pate, Ethelsville, AL; sisters-in-law, Tabitha Pate and Tansy Pate, Ethelsville, AL; and special daughter and granddaughters, Christina, Alyia and Abigail Brock, Ethelsville, AL. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of your choice in memory of Connie.
