CEDAR BLUFF — Climmie Ruth Lee, 80, died June 22, 2026, at her residence. 

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, at Bryan Union Hall with Elbert Lee officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at Bryan Union Hall. Carter’s Mortuary Services of West Point is in charge of arrangements.  

Mrs. Lee was born June 12, 1946, in West Point, to the late John Taylor and Castella Taylor. She was formally employed with Big Yank Corporation. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Debra Wynn; and sister, Martha Koonce. 

She is survived by her husband, Rev. Elbert Lee; daughters, Michelle Carter and Ronica James; brothers, Rufus Taylor, John Henry Taylor and Lonnie Taylor; sister, Alice Glasgow, Mary Maycock, Ruby Graves and Betty Clark; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
