WEST POINT — Clara R. Henderson, 72, died Sept. 24, 2025, at her residence. 

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, at Yeates Chapel M.B. Church, with L.T. Gathings officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church. Carter’s Mortuary Services of West Point is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Henderson was born May 23, 1953, in Clay County, to the late Nathaniel Jefferson and Leona Jefferson.

She is survived by her husband, Harvest Henderson; children, Simoe Wilson of Selma, Alabama, Dewayne Henderson of Vancouver, Washington; Loria Gordon, Alisa Randle, Tiffany Robinson, Annales Tabb, Renota Walker and Latonya Minor, all of West Point; siblings, Sammie Jefferson, Dennis Jefferson and Darlene Doss, all of West Point, Evern Jefferson of Columbus, and Gwenda Marshall of Washington, D.C.; 30 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.
