WEST POINT — Christopher Lamont Key, 52, died Nov. 20, 2025, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. 

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, at Zion Springs M.B. Church in Okolona, with the Rev. Nollen Elzie officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation is from 4-5 p.m. Friday, at Carter’s Mortuary Services. Carter’s Mortuary Services of West Point is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Key was born Dec. 9, 1972, in Monroe County, to Minnie Griffin Elliott and the late Lee Vester Elliott. He was formerly employed as a supervisor for MTD. 

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Ticey Patrece Key; son, Shaedrick Granger; daughters, Jasmine Hall and Trinity Key; brothers, Aracy Elliott, Paul Elliott and Brandon Melton; sisters, Debra Griffin Bean, Sadie Griffin and Aresha Elliott; and four grandchildren.
