Christine Stone Fancher, age 88, died Sunday, April 14, 2013, at The Arrington in Columbus. Services will be held Wednesday, April 17, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Mrs. Fancher was born on Monday, June 2, 1924, in MS to the late Joseph Nelson and Manilla Stafford Stone. She was a member of the 7th Street Church of Christ and a retired employee of Mississippi University for Women. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Felix M. Fancher, Sr. Survivors include her sons, Felix M. Fancher, Jr. (Debbie), Columbus, MS and Glyn Fancher (Maggie), Savannah, GA; brother, Clovis Glenn Stone, Dallas, TX; four grandchildren, Claire Robbins (Todd), Alice Duett (Jeff), Amanda Flewallen (Al) and Angie Fancher; and five great-grandchildren.
