COLUMBUS — Charlie Jamison Jr., 64, died Sept. 13, 2025, at his residence. 

Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. at St. Matthew M.B. Church, with Allan Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Union Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-6 p.m. Friday, at Carter’s Funeral Services. Carter’s Funeral Services of Columbus is in charge of arrangements. 

Mr. Jamison was born July 17, 1961, in Brooksville, to the late Charlie Jamison Sr. and Lottie Young Jamison. He was formerly employed at Dominos, Seminole, Graham Roofing and Rent-A-Space. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Johnny Young, Doris Bush, Daniella Jamison, Bernice Triplett and Ruthie Bluitt. 

He is survived by his wife, Annie Jamison; children, Mario Jamison of Flowood, Tiffany Carr of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, and Jeremy Wilson of Michigan; siblings, Annie Pearl Tate, Carrie Young, Samuel Jamison, all of Brooksville, Jessie Young and Earnest Young, both of Gary, Indiana; and four grandchildren. 

Pallbearers will be Theodore Jamison, James Brown, LaFredrick Jackson, Mario Jamison, Samuel Jamison and Anthony Jamison.
