WEST POINT — Charles “Charlie Ray” Kornegay, 59, died Dec. 5, 2025, at his residence. 

Memorial services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, at Bethel Baptist Church in Aberdeen. Robinson Funeral Home of West Point is in charge of arrangements. 

Mr. Kornegay was born April 22, 1966, in Nashville, Tennessee, to Charles and Lula Kornegay.. He was a member of Bethel Baptist Church. 

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his survived by his daughters, Jessica Maddox of Berry, Alabama, and Chelsey Curtin of Demopolis, Alabama; step-children, Renee Harvey of Drew, Roxie Campbell of Flint, Michigan, Charlie Thomas Jr. and Chris Thomas, both of Ocean Springs; siblings, Ann Gulsby of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, William Sullivan of West Point, Teresa Dove of Flowery Branch, Georgia, and Jimmie Sue Kornegay of West Point; and grandchildren.
