Cecil Lamar Robertson, age 85, of Columbus, MS, passed away July 31, 2025, at Baptist Memorial Hospital.

A private family Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Robertson was born June 17, 1940, in Louisville, MS, to the late Chester and Willie Richardson Robertson. He was a graduate of Nanih Waiya High School and served in the United States Army. Mr. Robertson then worked for a brief time with Realicious Dairy before working the rest of his career with Lowndes Farm Supply.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Dale White Robertson; son, Kerry Lamar Robertson of Kenner, LA; and 11 brothers and sisters.

Survivors include his son, Kevin Lee Robertson and his wife, Lynn of Reform, AL; daughter, Robbye McCoy of Columbus, MS; sister, Margie Hart of Orland Hills, IL; grandchildren, Kristy Robertson, Kristopher Robertson, Kevin Lee Robertson, Jr. and Nicholas Robertson; and a number of great- grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to the Columbus Lowndes Humane Society, 50 Airline Rd., Columbus, MS, 39702. The family would like to express their thanks and appreciation to the nurses and staff of Windsor Place and the nurses and staff of the 3rd and 4th floors of Baptist Memorial Hospital.
