SHUQUALAK — Cecil Lewis Sr., 67, died March 27, 2025, in Jackson.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Slaughter Cemetery. Burial will follow. Visitation is from 1-5 p.m. Friday at Lee-Sykes Funeral Home Chapel. Lee-Sykes Funeral Home of Macon is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Lewis was born Aug. 7, 1957, in Shuqualak, to the late Wallace Lewis and Johnnie B. Lewis. He was formerly employed as a corrections officer.

He is survived by his wife, Ruby Lewis; sons, Cecil Lewis Jr. and Timothy Lewis; and three grandchildren.
