COLUMBUS – Carrie Cotton Carnes Alexander, 92, died April 29, 2026, in Sandusky, Ohio. 

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, at Lee-Sykes Funeral Home, with Barbara Tucker officiating. Visitation will be from 3-5 p.m. Friday, at the funeral home. Lee-Sykes Funeral Home of Columbus is in charge of arrangements.

Ms. Alexander was born July 2, 1933, in Nuxubee County, to the late James and Charity Cotton. She was a member of New Jerusalem M.B. Church in Sandusky, Ohio. 

She is survived by her sister, Mary Jones, of Muskegon, Michigan.
