MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Carissa Yolanda Hendrix, 48, died Sept. 22, 2025. 

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, at New Bell Zion United Methodist Church. Burial will follow at Zion Cypress Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-6 p.m. Friday, at West Memorial Funeral Home. West Memorial Funeral HOme of Starkville is in charge of arrangements.

She is survived by her parents, James Hendrix II and Rev. Alberta Hendrix; daughter, Teyairra NaShae Hendrix; son, Tyler Jamal Hendrix; and brother, James Walter Hendrix III.
