STARKVILLE — C. J. Harris, 76, died Nov. 26, 2025, in Starkville.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at New Zion U.M. Church. Burial will follow at New Prospect Cemetery. Visitation is from 2-6 p.m. Friday at West Memorial Funeral Home. West Memorial Funeral Home of Starkville is in charge of arrangements.

He is survived by his wife, Glenda Harris; children, C.J. Harris Jr., the Rev. Dwayne Robinson, Nancy Ashford, Chieate Collins, Melvin Brown, Catina Robison, Christopher Thompson, Derrick Thompson, Angela Baker, Lakesha Zinn, Latroyas Thompson, Kenneth Robinson, Dwight Robinson and Donald Robinson; and siblings, James Harris of Ft. Wayne, Indiana, David Harris of Chicago, Illinois, L.C. Harris, J.B. Harris Jr., Mary Ann Skinner, Carrie M. Young, all of Starkville, Jewel Beckum and Mamie Beckum, both of Hattiesburg, and Rosa Denard of Biloxi.
