MOBILE, Ala. — Bryant Wayne Calmes, 66, died July 4, 2025. 

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, at Pleasant Grove M.B. Church in Starkville. Burial will follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 – 6 p.m. Friday, at West Memorial Funeral Home. West Memorial Funeral Home of Starkville is in charge of arrangements. 

He is survived by his mother, Lillian Duck; children, Reginald Calmes of Katy, Texas, and Erica Mark of Manvel, Texas; sisters, Marie Calmes, An-Jeanette Calmes, both of Powder Springs, Georgia, Sharon Calmes of Crawford and Raquel Foriest of Kernersville, North Carolina; brothers, Eric Calmes of Crawford and Marion Duck of Louisville, Kentucky; and grandchildren.
