COLUMBUS — Bordrick “Bo” Lydell Scott Sr., 54, died Dec. 14, 2025, in Columbus. 

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, at Mt. Olive M.B. Church in Millport, Alabama, with the Rev. James Henry officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 1-5 p.m. Saturday, at Carter’s Funeral Services. Carter’s Funeral Services of Columbus is in charge of arrangements. 

Mr. Scott was born May 28, 1971, in Columbus, to Eddie Lee Scott and Clarareasie H. Scott. He was a member of Mt. Olive M.B. Church. 

He was preceded in death by his step-mother, Rhonda L. Scott. 

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his children, Bordrick L. Scott Jr. and Shantrell Scott of Southaven; siblings, Chasity Scott, Javonte Scott, Shannon Scott, all of Columbus, Ricco Boles of Dallas, Texas, Demetra Davis of Atlanta, Georgia, Nakeetsha Dryer of Huntsville, Alabama, Arlando Boles of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, Audreia Jennings and Triece Stewart, both of Columbus; and five grandchildren. 

Pallbearers will be Christopher Mills, Isaac Brooks, Dennis Hill, Mario Murray, Sylvester Griffin and Michael Brandon.
