VERNON, Ala. — Robert Lee “Bobby” Woolbright, 84, died Aug. 25, 2025, at his residence.

Memorial services are at 2 p.m. Wednesday, at Celebration Worship Center, with James Godsey and Judy Elmore officiating. Visitation is one hour prior to services at the church. Otts Funeral Home of Sulligent is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Woolbright was born Aug. 6, 1941, in Sulligent, to the late Hobby Lee “Jack” Woolbright and Lula Bell King Woolbright. He attended Pine Springs Elementary School and was a graduate of Sulligent High School. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Jessie Nell Woods and Kathleen Woolbright, and two grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Bertha Cunningham Woolbright of Sulligent; children, Robert “Brad” Woolbright of Tuscaloosa, and Beth Hays of Memphis, Tennessee; stepdaughters, Cheryl Kincaid, Carla Cunningham and Christy Good, all of Tulsa, Oklahoma; sister, Barbara Carruth of Sulligent; 11 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
