WEST POINT — Bobbie Jean Calhoun, 69, died Sept. 27, 2025, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Golden Triangle.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, at Strong Hill M.B. Church, with Cedric N. Dean officiating. Burial will follow at Strong Hill Memorial Gardens. Visitation is from 4-5 p.m. Friday at Carter’s Mortuary Service Chapel. Carter’s Mortuary Service Chapel of West Point is in charge of arrangements.

Ms. Calhoun was born July 8, 1956, in West Point, to the late Willie C. Calhoun and Eva Ruth Calhoun. She was formerly employed as a dietician.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Willie C. Calhoun, Junior Calhoun, Willie Mae Dismuke and Linda Hamilton.

She is survived by her children, Christopher Dewayne Calhoun and Ciara Denise Calhoun; siblings, Darnell Calhoun, Daniel Calhoun and Clara Jones; six grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
