Bob “Vic” Sullivan

Bob Victor “Vic” Sullivan, 71, of Columbus, Mississippi, passed away on December 11, 2025, at Baptist Memorial Hospital- Memphis. He was born on May 31, 1954, in Nashville, Tennessee, to the late Coach Bob Sullivan and Virginia Sullivan.
Mr. Sullivan is survived by his daughter, Dallas Lambert, and her husband, Joseph Lambert; his granddaughter, Kinsley Lambert; and his sisters, Royce Sullivan and Gael Sullivan.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Bobbie Sullivan.
Vic was a graduate of New Hope High School and maintained many lifelong friendships in the Columbus area. He worked as a self-employed truck driver and was well known for traveling the country in his cherished 1956 Kenworth. He enjoyed telling stories so incredible they hardly seemed true, and he had a great love for laughter and football. He will be remembered for his unique personality and his passion for animal rescue, particularly caring for cats.
Following cremation, a private family service will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to West Point – Clay County Animal Shelter.
He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
