WEST POINT — Lieutenant Bob Moore, 76, died Nov. 29, 2025, in Columbus.
Funeral services are at 11 a.m. Thursday, at Calvert Funeral Home Chapel, with Rick Fuller officiating. Graveside services will follow at 2 p.m. at Huntsville Church of Christ Cemetery in Kilmichael. Visitation was from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday and one hour prior to services Thursday at the funeral home. Calvert Funeral Home of West Point is in charge of arrangements.
Lieutenant Moore was born June 10, 1949, in Andalusia, Alabama, to the late Edward Moore and Mary Wright. He was a graduate of Lee High School and attended Mississippi State University. He was a veteran of the United States Army, serving during the Vietnam War and as a Green Beret and a member of the Airborne Division. He was formerly employed as a Lieutenant with the West Point Police Department.
He is survived by his wife, Shelby Moore; daughters, Karmella McCallum and Brandie Cruthirds; and two grandchildren.
Pallbearers are Lieutenant Arnie Cade, Lieutenant Albert Lee, Corporal Robert Wilson, Lieutenant Carl Carter, Chief Deputy Steven Woodruff and Lieutenant Anthony Cummings.
