COLUMBUS — Robert Howard “Bob” Adkins, 72, died Sept. 17, 2025, at his residence. 

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, at Memorial Gardens, with George Collins officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at Memorial Funeral Home and Crematory. Memorial Funeral Home and Crematory of Columbus is in charge of arrangements. 

Mr. Adkins was born March 5, 1953, in Columbus, to the late Ernest and Mary Lou Geer Collins. He was formerly employed as a bartender at The Club and in the maintenance department at Sanders Oil Company. 

He is survived by his brother, Charles L. Adkins of Columbus.
