COLUMBUS — Billy Joe Sims, 71, died May 18, 2025, at his residence.
No services will be held at this time. Lowndes Funeral Home of Columbus is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Sims was born May 15, 1954, in Columbus, to the late James Odell Sims and Lillie Gertrude Spencer Sims. He was formerly employed as a mechanic.
He is survived by his children, Adrienne Sims and Benjamin Sims; and one grandchild.
