Billy Ray Price, age 89, died Friday August 1, 2025, at Baptist Memorial Hospital, Columbus, MS.

A graveside service was held Monday, August 4, 2025, at 10:00 AM at Memorial Gardens of Columbus with Pastor Charlie Whitney officiating.

Mr. Price was born on July 2, 1936, in Liberty, Alabama, to the late Alson Price and Lois Seacott Price. He was a member and deacon of Grace Baptist Church and a retired electrical supply salesman for Puckett-McGee.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Charles Price; sister-in-law, Yoshiko Price; and son-in-law, Gary Dyer.

Survivors include his wife, Myra Price; children, Michael (Debra) Price, Jan P. Dyer and Dan Price of Alpharetta, GA; grandchildren, Rebecca (Chris) Wright of Hernando, MS, Danielle D. (Nick) Davis of Rochester, Indiana; great-grandchildren, Alaina Wright, Layla Wright, Gary Davis, Pyper Davis, Skylar Davis and Sofia Davis.

Serving as pallbearers will be Richard Price, Danny Thornton, Bruce Cyr, Matt Cyr, Austin Cyr and John Fields.

Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Raymond Robertson, Grace Baptist Church family, Doug & Hazel’s employees, Fred Hall and Lee Roy Lollar.
