BROOKSVILLE — Billy Ray Kemp, 59, died April 6, 2026, at Noxubee General Hospital in Macon. 

Graveside services will be Sunday, at Brooksville Cemetery. Cockrell Funeral Home of Macon is in charge of arrangements. 

Mr. Kemp was born in Meridian. He was a graduate of Noxubee County High School and was formerly employed in maintenance at Waters Truck and Tractor. He was a member of Harrison Grove M.B. Church.
