WEST POINT — Beverly Ann Brantley Shields, 74, died June 1, 2023, at North Mississippi Medical Center-West Point. 

Funeral services are at 4:30 p.m. Saturday, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Florence. Burial will follow at Shields Family Cemetery. Visitation is two hours prior to services at the church. Robinson Funeral Home of West Point is in charge of arrangements. 

Mrs. Shields was born May 20, 1949, to the late J.B. Brantley and Cora Faye Cupitt Brantley. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, James Brantley. 

She is survived by her husband, Dr. John G. Shields Jr.; sons, Isaac Seth Shields of Oklahoma, J.B. Shields of Richland, Lewie K. Shields of West Point; daughter, Alice Faye Ann Shields of West Point; and six grandchildren.
