COLUMBUS — Betty Ann Colebrook, 71, died July 19, 2025, in Columbus.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, at Kingdom Vision Church, with Stanley McCrary officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 1-5 p.m. Saturday at Carter’s Funeral Services. Carter’s Funeral Services of Columbus is in charge of arrangements.

Ms. Colebrook was born May 3, 1954, to the late Tony James Matthew and Nellie Jethrow. She attended R.E. Hunt High School and was formerly employed with United Technologies and owner of CJ’s Bakery. She served as a Red Cross volunteer and was a member of Friendship M.B. Church.

She is survived by her children, Trenton Matthews, Danah Hayes, Jason Colebrook and Lynn Colebrook; siblings, Lucy Leech, Annie Pearl JOrdan, Tippie Barry, Brenda Hamilton, Linda Franklin, Mattie Walls, Renee Walls, Tawanda Webber, Shirley Matthrews, Wille Jethrow, Tony Walls, Robert Gunter and Elbert Gunter; 24 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Hosie Gunter, JaMorris Wilson, Tyommo Wilson, Nate Wilson, Mario Robinson, Reginald Moore, Oscar Taylor and Anthony Bouldes.
