NOXUBEE COUNTY — Deacon Bennie C. “Ben” Ivy, 66, died Nov. 3, 2025, at Noxubee General Hospital.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, at New Providence M.B. Church in Macon, with Willie Ivy officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. Visitation is from 2-5 p.m. Friday at Carter’s Funeral Services. Carter’s Funeral Services of Macon is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Ivy was born Feb. 15, 1959, in Noxubee County, to the late Arthur Ivy Sr. and Laura Lee Ivy. He was a 1978 graduate of Noxubee County High School and was a member of New Providence M.B. Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Annette Ivy, Arie B. Ivy, Jeanette Ivy and O.C. Ivy.

He is survived by his siblings, Willie Ivy, James Ivy and Mary Lou Rice, all of Macon, Arthur Ivy Sr. of Meridian, and Francis Wallace of Bartlett, Illinois.

Pallbearers are Julius Ivy and L.C. Jones.
