SULLIGENT, Ala. — Rebecca “Becky” Ann Rhudy, 66, died Nov. 16, 2025, at her residence.

Funeral services are at 3 p.m. Wednesday, at Otts Funeral Home Chapel, with Jeff Chaffin and B.J. Mills officiating. Graveside services and burial will follow at Wofford Cemetery. Visitation is one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Otts Funeral Home of Sulligent is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Rhudy was born Jan. 6, 1959, in Lamar County, to the late Curtis “Bud” Merchant and Shirley Frye Merchant. She was a 1977 graduate of Sulligent High School and was formerly employed with Alan White Furniture Company.

She is survived by her husband, Chuc Rhudy of Sulligent; daughters, Amanda Jackson of Birmingham and Joanna Gunter of Guin; siblings, Jack Merchant, Ricky Merchant, Tom Merchant and Barbara Parker, all of Hamilton; Mike Merchant of Indiana, Sherry Crawford of Sulligent, and Brenda Chin of Florida; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers are Jack Merchant, Mike Merchant, Hunter Rhudy, A.J. Jackson, Dawain Rhudy and Danny Dillard.
