WEST POINT — Barron Wayne Head Sr., 57, died Nov. 29, 2025, in Memphis, Tennessee.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Satuday, at Northside Christian Church, with the Rev. Charles Davidson officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation is from 4-5 p.m. Friday at Carter’s Mortuary Services Chapel. Carter’s Mortuary Services of West Point is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Head was born Jan. 13, 1968, in West Point, to the late George E. Head Sr. and Corene W. Head. He was a veteran of the Army National Guard and was formerly employed as a truck driver.

He is survived by his children, Landon Duane Ewing, Barron Wayne Head Jr., Emmanuel Cortez head, Ezekiel Travez Head, Cheramy Natassha Moore and Kharlii Kaimana Glover; siblings, George E. Head Jr., William Michael Head, Glynis D. Farris, Janice Buckhalter, Karen Lynn Montgomery and Sharon Ann Head; and three grandchildren.
