COLUMBUS — Barbara Harris Rogers, 70, died May 4, 2020, at her residence. Private services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Carter’s Funeral Services Chapel. Visitation is from 2-5 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home chapel. Carter’s Funeral Services of Columbus is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Rogers was born Oct. 2, 1949, in Miami, Florida, to the late J.D. Harris and Stella M. Harris. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her children, Lanell Meady and Umbra Harris. She is survived by her children, Anthony E. Dixon of Seattle, Washington, Sophia Dixon, Deanna Harris, and Robin Harris, all of Columbus; brother, Eddie Bell Sr.; 17 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
