Barbara Jean Lancaster, age 77, of Ethelsville, AL, died September 13, 2025, at Aliceville Manor Nursing Home.

Memorial services will be 2:00 PM Sunday, September 21, 2025, at Skelton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Robb Small officiating and Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Joyce Rennaker; and brother, James Pennington.

Survivors include her husband, John Earl Lancaster; son, John Earl “Johnny” Lancaster, Jr. and wife, Wendy; sisters, Marie Keiser and Edna Penson; and three grandchildren, Briana, Rebekah and Mya Lancaster.

Barbara was born June 4, 1948, in Vernon, Alabama, to the late Edgar B. Pennington and Rowena Marie Edwards Pennington. She was a member of Mt. Moriah Free Will Baptist Church in McShan, AL, and a retired employee of Bosch/United Technologies in Columbus, MS.
