PHEBA — Barbara Lou Barkes, 54, died Feb. 15, 2014, at Sanctuary Hospice House in Tupelo. Memorial services are Saturday at 2 p.m. at Cairo Cumberland Presbyterian Church in West Point. Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Barkes was born Sept. 11, 1959, in Jackson to the late Charles and Sara Lou Cockrell Hardin. Survivors include her husband, Mark Barkes of Pheba; sons, Williams Barkes of Sparta and Shaun Barkes of Korea; and brother, Charles Scott Hardin of Jackson.
