SULLIGENT, Ala. — Attie Loretta “Dink” Gordon, 87, died June 27, 2025, at Fayette Medical Center-Long Term Care Unit in Fayette, Alabama.
A memorial service was held at 2 p.m. Monday, at Otts Funeral Home Chapel, with Jimmy May officiating. Visitation was one hour prior to services. Otts Funeral Home of Sulligent is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Gordon was born Nov. 17, 1937, in Poinsette County, Arkansas, to the late Arthur Lee Wells and Marie Cassiday Wells. She attended Beaverton Baptist Church in Beaverton.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Gordon; and siblings, Hoot Wells, Smokey Wells, Carolyn Whitman, Alma Allinder and Kitty Maxwell.
She is survived by her children, Terissa Jackson and Wayne Lockhart, both of Sulligent, Mary Ann Parker of Tupelo, and John Lockhart of Sipsey; siblings, John Wells of Oklahoma, Brad Wells of Florida, Phil Wells of California, and Connie Kmetz of Arkansas; eight grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.
