Arlene P. Koehn, 96, of Moundridge, Kansas, passed away Friday, August 22, 2025 at the Moundridge Manor. She was born May 12, 1929, in Canton, Kansas, the daughter of Freeman and Mary (Becker) Giesel.

Arlene was a member of the Meridian Church of God in Christ, Mennonite in rural Hesston.

She was united in marriage to Willis M. Koehn on March 25, 1951, at Greensburg, Kansas. He passed away in 2023. They shared over 72 years of marriage.

Arlene was a devoted homemaker.

She is survived by her daughters, Charmaine (Alvin) Wedel of Fulton, Kentucky, and Shana Walker of Columbus, Mississippi; daughter-in-law, Kris Koehn, Cedar Hill, TX; 14 grandchildren; four great-grandsons; two sisters-in-law, Helen Unruh of Moundridge, and June (Ken) Schoonover of Colorado Springs, Colorado; and two brothers-in-law, LaVern Schmidt of Montezuma and Orlan Becker, Moundridge; many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Arlene was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Willis; son, Mark Anthony Koehn; brothers, Lee, Bill and Stan Giesel; and a sister, Betty Martens.

Funeral services were held at 10:00 a.m., Sunday, August 24, 2025, at Meridian Church of God in Christ, Mennonite, rural Hesston. Burial followed at the Lone Tree Church Cemetery, rural Galva. The family greeted friends on Saturday, August 23, 2025, from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., at the church.
