CALEDONIA — Annie Ruth Billups Hill, 75, died May 25, 2023, in Conyers, Georgia. 

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, at Northside M.B. Church in Columbus, with the Rev. Sammie Hill officiating. Burial will follow at Sandfield Cemetery. Visitation is from 2-6 p.m. Friday, at Carter’s Funeral Services. Carter’s Funeral Services of Columbus is in charge of arrangements. 

Mrs. Hill was born Dec. 13, 1947, in Starkville, to the late Willie Billups and Katherine Walker Billups. She was formerly employed at Seminole Manufacturing, Bluebell and Johnston Tombigbee Furniture and was a member of Bethel M.B. Church. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Rev. Willie D. Billups, Helen Billups and Charles Billups. 

She is survived by her husband, Rev. Booker T. Hill; daughters, Brenda A. Hill of Columbus, Haquikah Hairston of Conyers, Georgia; son, Stanley A. Hill of Northport, Alabama; siblings, Ida Harrell of Starkville, Annie Hodges of St. Louis, Missouri, Louise Thurston, Susie Billups, Carnell Billups all of Florissant, Missouri, James Billups of Chicago, Illinois, Johnny Billups of California, Russell Billups of Arlington, Texas, and  Dennis Billups of Pensacola, Florida; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
