MACON — Annie Pearl Harris, 87, died March 4, 2026, at her residence.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, at Christian Hill M.B. Church in Brooksville, with Alvin Bernard Bowen officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. Visitation is from 2-5 p.m. Friday at Carter’s Funeral Services. Carter’s Funeral Services of Macon is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Harris was born March 6, 1938, in Noxubee County, to the late Sam Cunningham and Annie Bell Cunningham. She was a member of Christian Hill M.B. Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Lee Harris; son, William Curtis Cunningham; and siblings, Joann Cunningham, Jimmy T. Cunningham, J D Cunningham, and the Rev. Sammy Lee Cunningham.
She is survived by her children, Maxine Cunningham, Michelle Cunningham, Bernard Cunningham and Sandra Cunningham Clay, all of Macon, Terry Cunningham and Annie Mae Hood, both of Brooksville; siblings, Rosie Pearl Cockrell of Syracuse, New York, Willie Earl Cunningham and James Cunningham, both of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, and Steve Cunnigham of Macon; 20 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers are Keeji Cunningham, Antonio Cunningham, Jarnardreon Jones, Mykirin Lockett, Laron Hood and Reginald Hood.
