COLUMBUS — Annie Margaret Baldwin Calloway, 80, died June 14, 2026, at her residence.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, at Friendship M.B. Church with Dr. Stanley McCrary officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-6 p.m. Friday, at Carter’s Funeral Services. Carter’s Funeral Services of Columbus is in charge of arrangements.
Ms. Calloway was born January 4, 1946, to the late Joe Baldwin Sr. and Caroline Baldwin. She was formally employed at Gen Corp (Omnova Solutions) and was a member of Friendship M.B. Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Dwight Baldwin Sr., Dossie Baldwin, Mary Dell Baldwin and Bessie Jones; and one grandchild.
She is survived by her children, Derek Calloway and Debra Calloway-Ellis, both of Columbus and Anthony Calloway of West Point; siblings, Joe N. Baldwin of Columbus, Willie Baldwin Sr. of Macon, James O. Baldwin of Baltimore and Nathaniel Baldwin; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers are Mayor Stephen Jones, James Baldwin, Dwight Baldwin, Marcus Baldwin, Curtis Leech, Lamar Scott and Caesar Jethrow.
