COLUMBUS — Annie Orr Brooks, 71, died Sept. 26, 2025, at North Mississippi Medical Center in West Point.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, at Greater Mt. Olive M.B. Church in Crawford, with Donald Henry officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church. Lee-Sykes Funeral Home of Columbus is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Brooks was born June 6, 1954, to the late Sim Orr and Earlean Orr. She was formerly employed as a homemaker and was a member of Greater Mt. Olive M.B. Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Nettie Ross and Clara Orr. She is survived by her husband, J.D. Brooks; daughter, Tracy Roberts; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Pallbearers are Andre Roberts, Morris Brooks, Michael Brooks, Kenneth Durroh Jr., James Fields, Jeremy Harris, Keith Harris and Sylvester Short Jr.
