REFORM, Ala. — Amie Jean Richardson, 96, died March 3, 2026, in Fairhope, Alabama.
Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday, at Skelton Funeral Home, with the Rev. Mike Hall officiaitng. Burial will follow at Arbor Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Skelton Funeral Home of Reform is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Richardson was born June 12, 1929, in Palmetto, Alabama, to the late Elbert Junkin and Arri Mae Bailey Junkin. She was formerly employed as a lunchroom worker and manager at Reform Elementary School and was a member of Friendship Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, F. Ward Richardson; son, Winston “Wink” Richardson; daughter, Donna Lynn Richardson Layson; brothers, J.G. Junkin, William Searcy Junkin and Mayo Junkin; and sisters, Maudeal Junkin Shelton and Estelle Junkin McCrary.
She is survived by her son, David Ward Richardson of Reform, John Earl Richardson of Fairhope and Kyle Mark Richardson of Eupora; sister, Janice Cook; 19 grandchildren; and 29 great-grandchildren.
