NOXUBEE COUNTY — Alvin “Sonny Man” Kincaid, 78, died April 10, 2026, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Golden Triangle.
Funeral services will be at 3 p.m Saturday, at Millers Chapel M.B. Church in Macon, with the Rev. Nathaniel Ron Houston Sr. officiating. Burial will follow at Odd Fellows Cemetery. Visitation is from 2-5 p.m. Friday at Carter’s Funeral Services. Carter’s Funeral Services of Macon is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Kincaid was born Jan. 8, 1948, in Noxubee County, to the late Leonard and Sadie Kincaid. He was formerly employed with Bryan Foods and was a member of Millers Chapel M.B. Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Leonard Kincaid, Elnor Rupert and Dorothy Jean Kincaid.
He is survived by his wife, Viola Kincaid of Macon; children, Nakii Kincaid, Tracy Miller and Timothy Mitchell, all of Macon, Darold Mitchell of Madison, Cjar Fairley of Columbus, and Stacy Mitchell of Crawford; siblings, Luverda Miller of Macon, and Ordean Kincaid of Chicago, Illinois; 19 grandchildren; and a host of great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers are Terry Dora, Eddie Robinson, Shannon Rupert, Joe Rupert, Tyrone Rupert and Ladarius Mitchell.
