STARKVILLE — Alvin Jackson, 93, died Jan. 31, 2026, in Starkville.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at First Baptist Longview Church. Burial will follow at Mt. Bell Cemetery in Louisville. Visitation is from 2-6 p.m. Friday at West Memorial Funeral Home. West Memorial Funeral Home of Starkville is in charge of arrangements.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Jackson; children, Eddie, Linda, Arletha, Mia, Sheryl, Meryl, Kim and Ronnie; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
