COLUMBUS — Alvin Mario Dunn, 60, died Aug. 21, 2025, in Columbus.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, at Kingdom Vision Church, with J’Marcus Brooks officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Gardens. Visitation is from 1-5 p.m. Friday at Lee-Sykes Funeral Home. Lee-Sykes Funeral Home of Columbus is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Dunn was born June 10, 1965, in Columbus, to the late Richard Lee Dunn Sr. and Verna Dunn. He was a graduate of Stephen D. Lee High School and attended Mississippi Valley State University. He was formerly employed at Home and Personal Health Care Services in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Richard Lee Dunn Jr.

He is survived by his children, Cario Armstrong of Jackson and Jasmine Dunn of Memphis, Tennessee; sister, Jacqueline Dunn-Rencher of Jonesboro, Georgia; and two grandchildren.

Pallbearers are Jeffery Carter, Caleb Monté Dickerson, Johnny Weatherspoon, Christopher Connally, Durrell Williams and Lemuel Kidd.
