Allen Birmingham

SULLIGENT, Ala. — Allen T. Birmingham, 80, died Sept. 12, 2025, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Golden Triangle.
Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Monday, at Sulligent First Freewill Baptist Church, with Jeremy Hollis and Edward Puckett officiating. Burial followed at Prospect Cemetery. Visitation was one hour prior to services at the church. Otts Funeral Home of Sulligent was in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Birmingham was born March 23, 1945, in Sulligent, to the late John Clifton Birmingham and Willie “Madge” Otts Birmingham. He was a 1963 graduate of Sulligent High School and was formerly employed with NACCO. He was a member of Sulligent First Freewill Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Everett Birmingham, Dempsey Birmingham, Rogers Birmingham, Mary Ann Carden and Charlene Crutchfield.
He is survived by his wife, Doris Birmingham of Sulligent; daughters, Linda Oliver and Lori Sandlin, both of Sulligent; sister, Maxine McLemore of Atlanta, Georgia; seven grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Alan Dobbins, Kevin Tate, Patrick Morris, Patrick Spooner, Derrick Stanford and Chamblee Colvin.
